Re: Another illustration of the bug (FAB being red, the top bar should be in dark red. It's blue instead)

Is that "accent color"? Custom toolbar / app bar / icon bar color?

Re: It's the icon bar color. When you open the app in the main screen, the icon bar color is not the one expected.

Fixed in build 295 (linked in the header).

BTW - build 295 also has small adjustments to the app's icon (a bit more contrast, a bit of a shadow, small touches).

I installed it but I see the same look & feel

Re: + Big UI change: the navigation drawer is now (finally!) OVER the action bar (unless: phone + Android 4 + FAB off -> user gets "icons along the bottom).

Have you tried opening the nav drawer (side panel) in a message list?

This is so much part of modern Android apps that -- maybe it didn't even register when you saw it?

I find another "issue" on this release.

It has happened twice today with my Office365 account.

I deleted an email on outlook (PC), but it was not deleted on AM, this email was not synced. I run the syncing many times and the email was still without any change.

I am attaching some images to show the email that is not syncing on AM.

Some minutes later, I tested again, and I noticed that a another email that was deleted on Outlook, was deleted immediately on AM. And the previous email that should be deleted, finally was deleted (15 minutes later).

I just want to let it know, maybe it is something that happens on Office365. I will let you know if it happens again.

Regards.

Yes sounds like it was an Office 365 issue - missing the change when the app asked for "what's changed since last sync".

Was it the Sent folder?

Push enabled or not?

Next time it happens, could you try changing some nearby message between read / unread / starred - and then waiting a few seconds to see if push gets it, or refreshing the folder if not?

Hi, annoying issue in -295 and -300:
Back-Button does not close the keyboard.

Encountered on S6 edge phone (Android 6.0.1) with latest SwiftKey

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new message. Keyboard will open automatically.
2. Open menu from three dots icon. Menu will open behind the keyboard.
3. Push back button

Expected behavior: Keyboard closes, so I can reach items like "delete" in the lower part of the menu.

But this happens: Menu closes instead of keyboard. No chance to tap items which are positioned in lower part of the menu.

(I don't know wether it's a keyboard issue, but it occurs after updating AquaMail).

Thanks.

Same issue, if using Samsung stock keyboard.

In AquaMail exchange accounts (please see screenshot), "technical folders" like "draft", "sent", etc. are not updatable like in Imap (no available settings in AquaMail - the "wheel" don't lead to options). Do you consider removing the "Wheel" in that case, or add a specific message when the Wheel is tapped ("No options; Exchange acccounts" for example)?

Exchange always "knows" what those folders are -- with IMAP they can vary. Therefore, there'd be no sense trying to "remap" them.

There is an options window (gears icon) -- the color indicator's color. Oh when the app's setting for "color indicators" is off, then the dialogs are empty. OK, I'll fix that.

Re: Samsung S6, back key, menu

I'll take a look. The menu is our own implementation now.

This is pretty bad, but even worse is that I'm unable to reproduce - also Samsung S6 Edge, also 6.0.1, also SwiftKey or Samsung Keyboard.

What's the trick?

Build 304 above: the "gear" will still be there (consistency), but the dialog will have a special message.

Same can happen in an IMAP account that has no server IDLE (push) capability (and app's "color labels" setting off).

Weird. I now understand, that the menu should show up in front of the keyboard and not behind. After reading your post I tried to do some investigation on user's side:
While testing the battery got low and the device was shut down. After charging and launching the device the issue was gone. For some minutes... because:

So I tried to reproduce it and I could reproduce it:
I first disabled the Floating Action Button, then the issue appears (see steps I mentioned earlier). See screenshots

But I was not able to get rid of it anymore , I tried
- enabling Floating Action Button
- then closing/killing AquaMail
- empty cache of AquaMail
- reboot the device

No success until now

I tried it with the FAB disabled, no luck. Also an S6 (Edge), 6.0.1, both Swift and Samsung keyboards.

And yes, the menu's drop-down window is definitely supposed to be in front of the keyboard.

Re: Translation of "Color: current message" (Message list)

Thanks!

And yes, the menu's drop-down window is definitely supposed to be in front of the keyboard.

Some hours later. Finally I found out what happened:
If you see my screenshots above, you will find a grey line on the left edge in the upper part. This is the trigger zone for this sidebar app: Swiftly Switch (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.de_studio.recentappswitcher.pro) (fine app btw)

This app has the permission to use display overlay - and there is an option which was enabled: "Avoid Keyboard" in order to not interfere with the keyboard - see screenshot below. As result the app tries to always set the keyboard on top of all things on the display. So menu in AquaMail was hidden behind the keyboard.

After restarting my phone, Swiftly Switch did not launch immediately. It seemed that the issue in AquaMail was gone. Just when I was playing around with the FAB, Swiftly Switch must have been started in background and caused the issue again.

Disabling the option mentioned above did it. :)

Sorry for wasting your time @Kostya and @Paris_Geek. But it was important for me to read that you could not reproduce the problem. This is why I investigated further. Thank you both!

Wasting my time? Not at all.

This did not happen prior to the recent "nav bar over toolbar" update, and it important to get fixed in Aqua Mail.

I do have an idea and will post a new build later today.

@nica, can you please also check the "from which account - drop down list" in the action bar? If your list of accounts is short, please rotate the phone to landscape.

@Kostya  Thank you.

Tested 'from which account". Same behavior depending on the option "Avoid keyboard" in Swiftly Switch.

Re: Tested build -306. Same behavior as in -305.

I installed this "Swiftly Switch" and --

- The issue is present in current Aqua Mail
- The issue is present in old versions of Aqua Mail -- before the "nav drawer over action bar" change -- I previously thought that older Aqua Mail versions were fine
- In Gmail app
- In Contacts app.

And so this is not an Aqua Mail issue, it's "just how this swift switcher app is".
