I'm not entirely sure if this is a bug or not but I keep getting data usage warning caused by Aqua mail. When I look at it I see it's used almost 2 gigs of data over the course of a few hours. What gives?
-
2 Gigs in a few hours? That is nearly inexplicable.
Do you have a bad internet connection, so that Am is forced to try and try again downloading a lot om emails with attachments? Even this won´t explain 2GB..

Its on the network (3g/4g) and it's using data off the network that is giving me data usage warnings. I don't have any problems with it using my WiFi hotspot at home.
Its never done this before yesterday. I was getting data usage warnings from Verizon and it listed Aquamail as using almost 2 gigs.
-
Well, I've just gone ahead and uninstalled it. Got another warning that I am encroaching on 4 gigs of data being used. 3 of that was Aquamail.
Glad I got help from the dev.

Sorry, but this is neraly impossible. There has to be something else wrong.
Have you tried a clean install?
-
Sorry about the delay (just trying to stay alive here, but I do understand your sarcasm).
If you're still interested, please make a debug log as described below, with "raw data" enabled.
I do recall one mail server that would go into an endless loop sometimes, spewing potentially gigabytes of data unless the app was killed. Do have a fix, but would like to investigate first.
