+ Unread counter badge on Samsung/LG/Sony:
- Will resume updating on Android 4.2+, unless previously turned off
- Will clear and won't update on Android 4.1 and lower
See "Settings -> Notifications -> Launcher icon counter" to adjust as needed.
I apologize for the previous version's weirdness with icon counters.

+ Счетчик на иконке на устройствах Samsung/LG/Sony:

Kostya,
I have Android 4.1.2, and 1.4.0.30 update showed up on Google Play about 2-3 days ago (Tuesday?).
So, I am confused, - is it compatible with 4.1.2 (should I install it?) or not?
I currently have 1.4.0.22 installed and haven't seen any problems with that.

*Unread counter badge* will clear and won't update on Android 4.1 and lower. Not app :)
-
Yes, it is compatible, and your seeing the update confirms it.
The unread counters on Samsung (and Sony and LG) are an undocumented function, intended for system software.
One user reported the system launcher crashing, she had Android 4.1.
As a result, I disabled manufacturer-specific icon counters by default on 4.1 and below -- but you can enable them in app settings -> message notifications -> "Launcher icon counter".

Hi Kostya,
I think the same border we have at bottom, could be in top side of the separator bar,
I attached my screenshot to explain...
ciao
-
Um, no. Tried it, looks too busy.
The thin grey line you see there is a separator added by ListView itself (I could turn it off, but then all the messages would look glued together).

You can customize the color of this bottom line if you wish. In that way, the date band will have bottom and top edges looking the same
I know, but the color is for bottom line only, the top doesn't change...
-
I think what you're calling "the top" is called "Color: group header" in settings, and yes, you can change it.

If you change color in group header, the bottom line only will change, I would like the same color in top border, see my picture in some post later...
ciao

Dear friend from Modena, I have sent my message list settings to you. Just implement them, you will see how much AquaMail as it is currently is smart...
Hi dear friend from one of the best city in the World, I know all features to customize this special app, and I done, but this difference in borders is not included...

HiperDear,
I have a very nice idea, you can equal message separator and border for day groupage, so the difference will be removed...
-
Yes I know, I have chosen special colors that occult that line. Try them if you wish and you will see
In my second device I done the same ;)

The link is broken at the top, this post is very old and not relevant. Same badge issue is happening on latest version of Aquamail with Android 5 lollipop on Sony Xperia Z3 compact
-
Not same issue.
