Believe this is a bug. If a certificate is expired you can't delete it b/c the error message pops up "failed to load expired certificate" and thus you can't delete anything.
Surely there must be a way to remove it than having to uninstall the app and reinstall from scratch.
Non expired certificate load and you can delete those from the database but expired remain stagnant.
Martin, AM looking for info here on how to remove without going through hoops?

Same problem here, but certificate hasn't expired.

I contacted customer support Barn was supposed to get back to me it's been a couple weeks not clearly and no resolution no response feels like they're dropping support for this app.
-
Apologies for the delayed response.
I was trying to find a method to both create and subsequently remove an expired certificate while multitasking on another matter that required my attention.
Regrettably, currently, there is no option available to remove an expired certificate; you can only add one. :-\
Rest assured, we will investigate this issue and work on enhancing the functionality as per the requests of our loyal users.

I can't even delete a not expired certificate.

Removing a non-expired certificate works currently. (just tested it).
Open the certificate repository>choose the certificate> delete (top right corner)

Hmm, try to remove/add the account from Aqua Mail and let me know if there is a change.

Tried that earlier.
Certificate stays.
May be a complete uninstall and reinstall helpes.
My backup includes the certificate?

Give it a try, if you don't mind.
The certificates are not backed up (tested).

Yes that worked perfect.
Btw, can somebody recommend a free S/Mime provider?
Actalis for some reason isn't working with AquaMail.

Well that's a shame, I would chalk this as a bug frankly. Hoping to see a fix in new releases.
Thanks for confirming Martin
