Since the last update I started getting repeated "Incoming server login error" message on my o365 account. Searching the App reviews in the Google store, I've noticed server people reporting the same issues. Has something been changed that requires modifications of settings or is this a bug that needs to be corrected?

Since the app was updated no push mail from O365 and on/off issues with syncing when pressing refresh manually.
Tried clearing data and restored account and app settings and the issue still persists.

Thanks for the reply but that's not it. I was asked to authenticate after loading the new update for the first time. The problem is that I randomly get an "Incoming server login error" and then need to click next. This happens multiple times a day. See the screen shots. I also tried to delete the account and re-add it but the issue still occurs.

HI,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Please refer to this article for more information https://aquamail.freshdesk.com/a/solutions/articles/77000526111
The only course of action you can take here is to request that Aqua Mail is whitelisted by your company's IT department. Please note we have some changes for the Office 365 login page we made in version 1.37 that may affect our Client ID. This will require users to re-authenticate since we implemented Microsoft's newer MSAL standard and replaced the older ADAL.
For now, you can disable the notifications if they are annoying. Please go to Aqua Mail > Settings > Look and feel > Notify about ... there are three such options. Alternatively, turn off the notification by tapping & holding on it and entering the management page in Android Settings.

Have you searched the forum? And/or read the release notes?

There was nothing in the forum regarding 1.37 and O365 push notifications issues.
And I have no issues with the login, even though it occasionally throws a login error.
When I manually refresh the mail it works fine each time.
Scheduled sync is messed up (it works on/off) and push mail NEVER works.
I have also uninstalled Aqua Mail and installed it from scratch with not a single setting changed (so fully default) with just the O365 account, and it doesn't work, the behavior is the same.
So, in conclusion there is a bug.

hi.
after the last update i am also having various random login errors during the day.
the problem only affects live.com and o365 accounts. this never happened before the update.
I hope it can be fixed soon.
PS: i have the pro version from play store

Likewise also PRO.

Maybe I'm not explaining it properly. I can authenticate properly. I get emails without any issues. The problem is at random intervals throughout the day I get an "Incoming server login error". I don't know if it has to do with a time-out, issue with Token refresh interval or whatever. As you can see from the sign in logs, there are many successful sign in attempts. I don't see errors in the Azure Sign-In logs.
I can disable warnings as you suggested but I'm not sure if this is an issue as I've never experienced it before. There is no conditional access, If I'm missing some permission, perhaps you can elaborate and explains why it works except for the random "incoming server login error" message.

i've attached a screenshot of the error i got. received it already 3 times today since i powered on my smartphone (6:30)

Same problem for me. Login errors. But also refreshing email manually takes 5-10 times longer.
I do not longer get emails instantly through pushmail. Maybe like 20 minute delay now.

Have downgraded back to 1.36 and everything works perfect again.

Which exact file do I download and where to get the 1.36 pro version? Thanks

Just to drop another report of the same issue. The reversion to 1.36 removed the issue. There would seem to be a problem with 1.37.
-
Being new here, I'm not familiar with how bug reports are dealt with.
Can I ask if Aquamail developers have noted and accepted this issue?
FYI, it seems to be associated with the phone 'sleeping' and requires re-authentication with office on wake.

We are aware that some users have problems login into O365 accounts and not getting push notifications. We are investigating it. Please be patient with us.

Thanks Martin
Quite happy to wait thanks. Just didn't know if this problem had reached 'official' status.
Much appreciated.

Is there any debug information/o365 logs we can look up to assist?
-
Same problem for me. :( >:(
any news?

Pro user here. Same issue here 10-15 times a day. Really annoying. Re-syncing account appears to temporarily fix it. Tried removing and re-adding account, it didn't fix it. Opened a ticket.

I can confirm that in version 1.38 push mail is still broken.
And still login errors.
-
This is very disappointing. I waited for over a month hoping that the next update would fix the push handling bug. Unfortunately, version 1.38.0-177 did not fix the problem.
For me, this is one of the most important features of this application.
Tested on: MS exchange account and phones: Samsung SM-G970F / DS (Android 12) and Sony H8324 (Android 10).

Sheldon, likewise, as a paid user I am completely pissed off that this crucial bug is not fixed for months now.
And worst of all we don't even get a notice when they plan to fix it.
What's the point of having bug reports if you don't fix the bugs? 🤔
-
Sorry for the inconvenience. We are monitoring/testing still without much success, unfortunately...
We still don't know where the problem may come from :-\ We are not quitting on this!
-
Thanks for the update, nice to know that it's not forgotten!
Is it fixed in 1.39 or I shouldn't bother updating?
Why don't you revert things to how they were on 1.36 regarding O365 until you figure out what the problem is with the new config?

Hi all - Are there any updates on this issue? v1.36 still seems to work properly with Microsoft Intune, but all subsequent versions continue to fail.
