Most email apps allow my work/employer to force a pin on my phone. I don't work with sensitive data and hate having to enter one every time I wake my phone. I've used another email app for a while that bypasses this feature but I don't like all the functionality of the app. Will AquaMail allow me to bypass this forced pin?

Anyone with help on this?

Forcing a pin sounds like policy placed by something like Exchange. What sort of email provider do you use? Do you remember the name of the other app you tried out?
I'm not aware of anything in AquaMail that would adhere to a forced setting (although one can be set by the user if they require it).

Enhanced Email allows the user to either accept the Exchange enforced pin lock or bypass it. My company forces it and Enhanced is the only one that allows me to bypass. Aqua seems much more streamlined to my liking but I refuse to add a screen/pin lock when I choose not to have one.

Has AquaMail asked you to enable device lockdown? I don't think so.
Worth reiterating that AquaMail uses EWS, while stock Email apps and Enhanced Email use ActiveSync.

Thanks for the reply. I was just assuming it would as all other email programs follow my company's guidelines and when I add that email account, the app enforces a pinlock. I installed AquaMail and no pinlock is being forced by my company through the App. So far so good!
