Title: Gmail fail synchro via IMAP
Post by: qubal on April 02, 2013, 05:01:42 pm
Hi Kostya,
Thanks for great app. I'm a Aqua Mail's paid version user. I'm using two accounts via IMAP. One of them works great - this one is provided by my local provider. Second one is Gmail. And this Gmail account does not synchronise via IMAP. It works only with standard synchronisation. I have turn on IMAP in general options and Gmail options as well. Also I have Aqa Mail on white list of my task killer. My harware is Samsung Galaxy S2 with Android 4.1.2.

[Edit] Now, there's no auto synchronisation with Gmail account. it works manualy only.

Hi,

Could you long press the account (in my app), choose Options and Folders, and check that this particular account's scheduled mail checking is enabled?

Could you also open the account's base Account Setup, then use Manual to advance to incoming server page, and check that it's indeed configured using IMAP, not POP3?

( FWIW, I've got my @gmail.com account on multiple devices, so I hope we're just missing some settings )
