Title: Oneplus 3 and doze settings
Post by: kimoh on July 13, 2016, 09:28:57 pm
Hello, there is some issues regarding the notifications with OP3 when the device enter in doze mode, no matter what you do you will not receive any notification, until you wake up the device.
I have read Aquamail works better with Android 6.0 and can fix the doze issue so at least you get correct notifications even if device in doze mode but unfortunately it doesn't work and I won't receive any notifications from Aquamail until I wake up the device.
I have already added the APP to ignore battery optimization so maybe we can have a new setting to disable completely doze for Aquamail?

Unfortunately 'doze mode' is forced on system level (Android OS) and can not be influenced by the app itself -  as far as I know -.

Doze Mode is a standard Android thing, since 6.0, and I'm personally finding the app working quite well on my several phones with 6.0 (Samsung, Motorola, Nexus).

Perhaps OnePlus has *another* type of "battery optimization"? In case they thought that Doze Mode is not enough?

Huawei does, Samsung does, maybe OnePlus does too?
