Title: Tablet view only in landscape
Post by: Sir-MailAlot on April 10, 2013, 02:36:47 am
Is it possible to add an option to disable the tablet view (splitted screen) in portait mode? By the way, the two options for the vertical splitted view don't seem to make any difference. They are all the same I think (at least on my Gnex).

Thanx

I assume you're referring to the two options for portrait orientation.

Those come into play when viewing a message, please try, you should see the difference.

The account list / message list remains split in both orientations with both settings, at least for the time being.

BTW, did you know that the exact split point can be adjusted? There is a resize handle next to the "dividing line" between the panels, it flashes into view when opening a message and backing out, then fades out, but remains active even when hidden.

Oh, I see! I am such a fool!
It is different of course...

But still, it would be nice if there were an option 'OFF' as well.
Now that I know how the 'message in fullscreen' mode works - is it possible to enable it in horizontal mode too?

Thanks

The "account list / message list -> split, message view -> full screen" is for portrait mode only right now, sorry.

Have you tried adjusting the split point between message list and message view, when in landscape?

I downloaded aquamail pro and was impressed from the splitted screen. But in between the splitted screen doesn't work. I checked all settingd several time and cannot find the right topic.
Can you help me?
Can i delete some settings?
