:D Read all the help on deleting folders. So, went to my webmail -- but no AquaMail folder I created (i.e. trips, keepers, etc.) appear in my webmail interface -- see attachment So now what can I do?
attached is a copy of a screen shot of my web mail folders....no trips, no keepers.
All the AM folders I want to delete are empty as well.
HELP!

I can assure you that Aqua's "create folder" command creates folders *on the server*.
Why they're not showing is good question and -- I'm guessing it might have to do with a so called "IMAP namespace".
Re: All the AM folders I want to delete are empty as well.
Sorry didn't get this part.

Kostya,
Thanks for your response. What is a "IMAP namespace" is. What can I do? I use a simple POP3/SMTP access for my email on ipower.com servers that host my site and provide my email. Anything I can do to delete folders would help.
Thanks,
Steve

No you are not using POP3 - POP3 does not provide access to folders.
You are using IMAP in Aqua Mail. And web mail either also uses IMAP or reads the data files directly.
I am 100% sure that your "trips" and "keepers" folders were created by Aqua Mail *on the mail server*.
And so, please ask your mail provider's support to investigate.
Maybe there is a setting in web mail to "show folders outside the inbox" (??? who knows). Maybe it's a "namespace" issue (a mail provider's support should know what this means).
---
I think we should reconsider and add a "delete folder" command....

Dear Kostya,
I seem to have the same problem. I argued with the provider about the "IMAP namespace" but he doesn't seem to understand me. He says I should organize it in the Aqua app.

A mail server operator who doesn't understand "imap namespace"?
-
I agree. Probably a newbie. I love the Aqua mail app but because more people in my household receive mails under the same account I prefer not to work with IMAP. Will there be in the foreseeable future an option to make folders under the POP3 settings? The problem with IMAP is because I like to move the mails to archive others in my household don't receive the mails because they have been moved out of the inbox.

POP3 does not provide access to server folders. There is no such thing as "server folder" in POP3.
-
I don't mean folders on the server but folders in the Aqua Mail app. Folders to archive and so on.
-
With a few exceptions - we don't have "folders only in the app". This is not Outlook :) it's a mobile-optimized app.
