Title: 1.3.0-pre1.8
Post by: Kostya Vasilyev on November 19, 2013, 10:32:20 pm
http://www.aqua-mail.com/download/AquaMail-market-1.3.0-pre1.8.apk

+ For message date/time stamps, now using 'received' rather than 'sent' values; this works even if the originating device is misconfigured.

'Received' means 'received by your account's mail server', not 'received by the app' -- so it works even if your mail check schedule is every 6 hours (just to use an example).

Only messages downloaded by this build (and later) will be affected.

Hopefully this resolves the issue with new messages falling to the bottom of their respective message lists, because the sender's device has some weird time zone configured...

Excellent! I don't need exchange integration, but I certainly appreciate this modification. In fact couldn't you just disable sorting all together and list messages by a message's uid? With large inboxes and a decent imap server I can imagine this to perform much better than using imap sort for listing messages

I'm not using IMAP server sort, as we'd already discussed, and the sync code does not slow down on large mailboxes.

RFC 3501 says UIDs are assigned by date/time received, so it already works the way you suggest.

Cool thanks. Did we discuss this before? Oops. Your memory is certainly better than mine. ;)

They still have not fixed the "UID SEARCH HEADER Message-ID" issue, reported by myself and numerous others back in September...

With this bug still existing, moving messages between folders is... awkward.

If you really want/need IMAP, why not try manual account setup? The settings have been posted a good number of times already.

Got it
I have tried for testing but I get error 550 or similar
Also wanted to ask you about attaching multiplr files from the attach option
Currently you can choose by clicking one by one
But there is no choice to pick multiple files
From that menu

Error 550 comes from the server. The outgoing server, not the incoming one. Either you've made a mistake in entering you password, or it's a server issue.

Your second question has been covered in extensive details before, please use forum search.
