I said Kostya in your last release post; this new design beats all....and I see there is some requests about changes, as for example being able to change the colors of the heading/bottom, which wouldn't be a bad idea (or maybe easier to make a couple of more "color-themes" to choose from)...
BUT...I have an idea which I really hope you don't get offended by;
The new look also has a new and absolutly nicer (and updated) icon...why don't you change this to be the new Aqua Mail icon?
It is nice the one you have but the new one in the blue design is absolutely nicer and more "material" and modern.
Look at the attached pic;

Compare the two of them like that...there is no doubt if you ask me

Actually it's the same icon -- without any color gradients -- and made completely white -- with the center "@" part "knocked out" (made transparent).

So I'm not very clear on how it would work as a launcher icon.

Light home screen backgrounds are not uncommon too (or at least - it's perfectly valid to have a light wallpaper) -- and a white icon won't stand out.

So it would need some sort of outline / shadow for that...

Just thinking aloud, I guess.

You are absolutely on the right "thinking" ...just to make the envelope either with a bit greyish tone, or as you said...make a grey marking around the envelope .
Believe me my friend...would absolutely be nicer and look more up-to-time stylish
Just to give you an idea I have attached some examples

Version 1.5.0 added message swiping for Android 4.0.

Message swiping is now enabled by default, and the icons are now disabled by default.

There is a setting for both of these -- under "Swiping" in the app's Settings -- so you can either turn off swiping, or keep swiping and enable those prev/next icons.
