Honor 7 get no notify when screen is off

Hi

I have the problem that i got no notify when my screen is off.
When I turn on my screen there is no problem.
Also if you put all apps out of Memory manager i got no mail.
This is different to other mail apps, perhaps there is a way in aqua mail.

Anyone the same problems ?
Or tips for me to solve my problems ?

I am not sure which exactly "Memory Manager" you are using, but I suspect that it's the culprit.
If it is something like these:

then that's what those apps do:
"Memory Manager is more than just a task manager, it improves Android's built in task killer."
(from the description of the 1st one above). READ: it kills other apps. It claims: "This app will improve performance and save precious battery life!" But of course! The highest savings of the time you get when you shutdown your phone completely!

Both symptoms you described are consistent with what this type of apps do. And Aquamail must be running regularly, and it should be able to control its own schedule when it wakes up. So, if you want it to work properly, make sure that you configure your Memory Manager to not touch Aquamail at all. Period.
That's the first thing I'd do to debug your problems.

Thank you for your answer.
No its not this app.
I described the task manager of honor 7.
After this night i had 2 new mails,but the led don't blink.
But it is set in aqua mail to do this.

Now on PC :-)

Yesterday I wrote a lot of emails to my own adress .
When I started Aqua mail once I got a Notify, but only when the screen is on .
When Aqua mail is in the task list and the screen is off I did'nt got a Notify, no led blinks , no vibration, but it is set in Aqua Mail .

Update : I made a test with app mail.ru
After setup in Notifymanager of Honor 7 it works with screen on and off .
But I think Aqua mail is more better .
It was only a test to be sure no other program disturb Aqua Mail .
It would befine if Kostya can solve this problem .
It's not the phone, not CM Antivirus with its own Notifymanager ( it turned off ), I think its Aqua mail .

Would you please test with K9? Mail. Ru is cloud based, while Aquamail and k9 are not.

Okay I did the test with K9 but with it it is the same .
No notify when screen is off .
But in K9 when screen is on I get no  Notify tune nor LED is blinking, but it is set .
Every settings were made in Notify manager of Honor 7 and of CM Antivirus .

So your issue is not due to Aquamail, since you face the same problem with k9.

What's your Android version? Is that 6.x?
Then it might be Android's own battery-saving management that disables apps communicating/waking up unless they are configured explicitly to be an "exception".

Start new installation of Aqua mail

Settings for sycronisation
    System  setting : Sync
     get mails is set on
     if program run is set on
   imap push is set on
Mail notify
mail notify is set on
notify me is set all unread messages
only changes is set on
tune is set cave
tune only one is set
led notify is set on
led color is set to green
vibration is set on
turn screen on is set

I get notify if Aqua mail runs .
When I turn the screen off I  get no notify .
After turn screen on I get no notify, but Aqua mail is still in Task Manager .

Since this is 1) device make/model specific and 2) affects multiple apps:

You might get *better* help on Huawei forums or from their support.

( feel free to ask them why they intentionally break Android )
